Clinique Enters Medical Forum

The global medical aesthetics company Allergan has collaborated with prestige cosmetics brand Clinique Laboratories to create a new collection of medical products. Clinique Medical products, which are sold exclusively in physician's offices, are clinically proven and scientifically designed to help improve the skin's receptivity to the benefits of in-office, non-surgical cosmetic treatments, such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser therapy. "The collaboration combines Allergan's leadership in medical aesthetics and our deep understanding of the physician channel with Clinique's history of formulating leading consumer skincare products guided by dermatologists," says David E. I. Pyott, chairman of the board and CEO of Allergan. "With our complementary strengths, we expect Clinique and Allergan to grow this market."
