PLEASE NOTE (for all seminars): Although the above professionals are eligible to participate in AMET training seminars, AMET strongly recommends that potential participants contact their state licensing board to determine regulations specific to their state. Acceptance into an AMET seminar does not construe authority to perform procedures subsequent to training.
The amount of hand-on training you receive depends on the number of participants as well as the number of models present and their specific needs. Although AMET cannot guarantee a specific number of injections during Botox and other training courses, the interactive portion of the seminar is where AMET gets its highest reviews. Our participants are extremely pleased with their “hands-on” experiences.
There are no deadlines for registration, but classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Some classes, like our Botox training course, fill up well in advance, so it is advised to register as soon as possible. Participant spots are reserved upon receipt of payment.
Medical aesthetic training class size is limited to 10 participants to maximize one-on-one time with the instructor.
All of our instructors are independent contractors who perform these procedures in their own practice. Instructors include Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with varying backgrounds (family practice, internal medicine, dermatology, etc). If you want specific information about an instructor, please determine the class and time/date you’d like to attend first. Then you can simply call the AMET corporate office for more details. We’re always happy to assist!
There are no national requirements for certification, but medical professionals should check with their malpractice carrier to determine if they have specific requirements. If a participant is having difficulty with their malpractice carrier, they may contact the AMET corporate office for a list of insurance brokers that specialize in the field of aesthetics.
The Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler Training (available between 02/29/2024 – 02/28/2025) has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 7.50 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s) toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not Category 1.
Payment may be made over the Internet or by fax using a credit card, or a check may be mailed to the office. A deposit of $500 is required to secure a spot. The full balance is due three days prior to the seminar.

AMET is not affiliated with the hotels where seminars are held, so unfortunately a room discount is not available.
Cancellations must be received at least 21 days prior to the start of the training course and are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received in writing by email (customerservice@aestheticmedicaltraining.com) or by certified U.S. Mail (P.O. Box 1794 Manchaca, TX 78652). No refunds will be made for requests received after that time. However, if you must cancel within the 21-day period, and you give at least a 72-hour notice, you will have one-year from the date of the seminar to transfer your registration fee to another location. If you do not transfer your registration fees to another location by the end of the one-year mark from the original seminar, then you won’t be eligible for a refund. If you do not give at least 72-hour notice, then you are considered a no-show; as such, no refund or transfer of registration fees will be offered. All eligible refunds will be issued in the same form the payment was made.
